The architects, designers, and artists selected by the Housing the Human experts will present first-stage prototypes addressing social, ecological, and aesthetic aspects of the future of housing and communal living at the Copenhagen Architecture Festival (CAFx). Certain Measures, Mae-ling Lokko, Simone C Niquille, Lucia Tahan, and Dasha Tsapenko will each show an interim phase of their project and offer insights into the process and challenges up to this stage in a public lecture followed by a guided tour at the KADK Biblioteket on April 4.
The five prototypes are being developed over the course of a year and will be displayed to the public on two further occasions. The final project results will be presented in October 2019 as part of the Housing the Human Festival in Berlin, and in November 2019, the Z33 in Hasselt will hold a wrap-up event, contextualizing the five development processes with the accompanying curators and authors.
